Iwantja Arts, situated on a ridge at the edge of the Indulkana Ranges, is a thriving Indigenous art center showcasing some of Australia’s most captivating artwork.

Established in the 1980s during the fight for land rights, the center became a vibrant collective where artists meet, socialize, and create. Led by senior artists like Alec Baker and acclaimed talents including Vincent Namatjira, Betty Muffler, and Kaylene Whiskey, Iwantja Arts has become an intergenerational hub where storytelling, artistry, and cultural connections flourish.
