Spotlight on The Rutland St Precinct: Natural Supply Co
Everybody needs good neighbours right?
And we here at Jade and May are chuffed to bits with ours!
We LOVE being nestled in the Rutland Street Precinct in the historic RS & S Woollen Mills. And even better than our beautiful location, is the fact that we are sat amongst some of the BEST people and businesses we know. There are an absolute tonne of talented creatives, makers and so (so!) much more tucked down the river end of Pakington St in Newtown and we'd love to introduce them to you, so you can get to know them, too
Natural Supply Co, located a few doors down in the Mills Building don't need much of an introduction amongst the Geelong locals, but for those further afield.. or even new to Geelong, let us introduce you to our favourite 'twinning' duo Celeste and Sarah, the brains behind the successful Natural Supply Co
So, go on - give us the elevator pitch? What’s NSC, where are you located and who are you?
Natural Supply Co is the destination for all things natural, organic and zero waste. We stock over 130 incredible brands, and we're on Rutland St in the beautiful old red brick mills.
We turned ten in October this year, and I feel so lucky to be able to run my dream business with my bestie. I feel grateful for it every day!
Favourite mid arvo treat when both in the shop together?
Definitely a Loco Love! Celeste goes for Chewy Caramel, while Sarah's top pick is Midnight Cookies + Cream or Salted Caramel Shortbread
How would you sum up where you work in 3 words?
Fun, tempting and social
What’s your favourite place to visit in Geelong, the Surfcoast or the Bellarine?
Celeste: I love Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale - if I'm after some R&R Lon Retreat is always my first pick (and the IGA in Point Lonsdale is epic) but I love wandering Barwon Heads with the family, and going into Heads & Tales book store
Sarah: I’m going to agree with Celeste on LON Day Spa in Lonny and add in Queenscliff as a a great day trip with family for an ice-cream and a wander through the wonderful Queenscliff Bookshop
What’s your favourite product in-store at the moment?
Celeste: Ooh this is so tricky. I would have to say all of the fun new Japanese goodies we've got in - I'm mad for a sticker and notebook!
Sarah: My favourite product in store at the moment is all the new Baggu range that’s come in with new patterns and colours. I’ve got a thing for socks and the Baggu ones are so comfy and cute!
